Nintendo announces UK availability of DS MP3 player add-on

Nintendo has confirmed the availability of the add-on MP3 player for its DS handheld – it will hit the stores on 8th December 2006.
The music player accessory is effectively a card reader, allowing you to plug in music stored in SD card to playback via the handheld. A 512MB card will support around 150 songs, with song information available in the DS screen, so you can select your tunes.
As well as being of use to DS owners, the MP3 player will also bring music to the Game Boy Advance SP and Game Boy Micro. Expect to pay around £20.
