PC Guardian issue 3 pack of laptop security locks
We’ve featured PC Guardian equipment before, and now Avanquest are offering their PC Guardian 3 lock package, promising to provide total ‘on-the-go’ security for your laptop PC.
Each of the three locks – designed for home, car boot, and office/hotel – stays in one location and, with the twist of the key, the laptop can be securely locked into place, quickly and easily.
The PC Guardian Ezolution Ultra lock is designed for home use, featuring a better-than-industry-standard 1/3″ diameter cable. The car boot option is the PC Guardian Ezolution Classic that attaches to a metal anchor loop in the car boot, or alternatively to the supplied anchor plate that can be fitted in seconds. Finally, for the office or hotel, the PC Guardian Retractable laptop security lock is a small, compact lock that can be stored in a laptop back for use anywhere.
The 3-lock package, featuring one of each design, costs £99 and is available now. Software security (passwords, encryption, backups) is all very well but solid physical security is a must if you are keen on keeping your laptop and its contents safe on the move.
