Share your travel knowledge online and help UNICEF

Most of us are more than keen to add a comment to a website, but one company is offering an added incentive, it’s offering a donation to UNICEF for each holiday review you post on its website.

The people behind the scheme are Ireland-based travel firm Web Reservations International. It’s encouraging the public to log on to www.chickenandegg.ie and submit reviews and experiences of their travels for a new travel website to be launched in 2007. For every review submitted, WRI will make a 10c donation to UNICEF Ireland.

Just 10c can provide oral re-hydration salts which, when mixed with clean water, can save a child’s life. According to Maura Quinn, Executive Director of UNICEF Ireland: “As a UNICEF Ireland Corporate Champion for Children, Web Reservations International has already been a wonderful supporter of UNICEF’s work worldwide for children. Simply by using your travel knowledge, and at no cost to yourself other than time, you can make a lasting difference to the lives of the world’s poorest children.”
