The webcam that follows you round the room
You’d think it’d be easy NOT to be vile and offensive when there’s a camera tracking you round the room, but some Celebrity Big Brother housemates don’t seem to be able to manage it. Could you?
Well, now’s your chance. The V-Gear Talkcam Tracer Webcam plugs into your PC, and then uses its auto focus and zoom to keep you in the centre of the screen. It sounds a bit eerie to me, frankly, but must be great if you want to stream your life to the world without constantly checking you haven’t slid off the side of the picture.
The cam can take still photos at 1.3 megapixel resolution, and process up to 30 frames of video a second. Plus it comes with monitoring software so you can leave the cam running when you’re away from home, and use it to check in on your pets.
