Firefox launches eBay Firefox add-on

There’s a lot of people out there using both eBay and Firefox, so it makes a lot of sense to combine the two – as is the case with the eBay Firefox add-on, which has been developed jointly between the two companies and is available to download now as a pre-final version.

Via a side bar, you can quickly access your ebay bids and items for sale, which are updated in real time, as well as receiving live updates (for example, if you have been outbid) and status alerts. And you can search eBay without having to open up an extra window. It also offers extra security, with Account Guard integration for eBay and Firefox anti-phishing protection.
