alteclansing-iphonephones.jpgAltec Lansing has taken the wrappers off its new Upgrader series of headphones, which includes three models that come with a special adapter to plug into Apple’s iPhone, which has a proprietary audio jack.

The UHS 306 is a set of in-ear earphones with an inline volume control and microphone, to switch between calls and music. The UHS 307 are over-the-ear earphones with a spring steel design and washable silicon ear tips, as well as the inline volume control and mic.

Finally, the UHS 302 is a more casual pair of headphones, although they have, yes, the inline controls and mic. The Upgrader series goes on sale in August in the US, although no news yet on a UK on-sale date.
