Loc8tor Lite – smaller, lighter and cheaper

Loc8tor has appeared on these pages many times and was reasonably well-received back in a 2006 review – although the ‘bulk’ of the handset was a concern. And that concern seems to have been taken on board with Loc8tor Lite.

The credit card sized Loc8tor Lite still finds your lost items, but with less weight in your bag and less of a hit on your pocket at £44.99. It uses active RFID technology to guide you to within an inch of any tagged item, using audio and visual cues to point you in the right direction of lost possessions that are within the 400ft radius.

It’s supplied with 2 mini homing tags that are similar in height to a paper clip. The tags can be attached to almost anything using the key ring loop or the adhesive strips provided. An option to register two additional tags means that the Loc8tor Lite can locate up to 4 different items. It’s available now.
