Panasonic offers wi-fi uploading with the DMC-TZ50

pana_wifi.jpgAnother new Panasonic Lumix – this time the DMC-TZ50, which has wi-fi connectivity as the big selling point.

It’s packing a 9.1 megapixel sensor, Leica lens and an impressive 10x optical zoom and 3-inch LCD screen. But the wi-fi is the thing here. For the Japanese market, you can upload from any hotspot, but only to Panasonic’s own Lumix Club. That’s likely to be more open if the DMC-TZ50 get a wider worldwide release.

In Japan, it retails for ¥49,800, the equivalent of around £250.
