CherryPal goes green with Freescale-based desktop PC
It might not have have power or storage for the serious computer user, but if you want to go green with your desktop, the CherryPal PC could be worth a look.
It consumes just two watts of power, which should help with your eco credentials, not to mention your energy bills. All of that is aided by Freescale’s new 400MHz MPC5121e mobileGT processor and a lack of moving parts (so no optical drive and 4GB of Flash memory rather than a regular hard drive). There’s also 256MB of RAM, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, an Ethernet port, and a VGA port,
No pricing as yet, but expect cheapness.
