Images of the new Walkman phone, the Sony Ericsson Alicia
A new Walkman phone, codenamed the Sony Ericsson Alicia, snuck its way onto the web yesterday and comes to us through the medium of the photograph ahead of its predicted 17th June release on Tuesday.
Here it is, looking remarkably similar to the W980 handset with clam shell design. It comes with 8GB of flash memory, an FM radio, stereo speakers, a 3.2-megapixel camera and 240×320-pixel LCD screen resolution.
It’s quad band and unsurprisingly not 3G, although it does have EDGE data transfer making it three times faster than normal GPRS. It may not be a touchscreen beauty but it’s got a good Knight Rider colour scheme and priced right, it may well appeal.
More to see after el jumpo.
