Official info and price on the Asus Eee Box B202
The Eee Box has landed – well, nearly; the official information on it has, anyway. Yes, Asus has finally come out and stood on the steps of their HQ with their hands on their hearts and given it to us straight. So, this ladles and jellyspoons is the word on the Eee Box B202:
The innards are pretty much as expected but as far as the trimmings go, it comes with Windows XP Home edition, two USB ports, an Ethernet slot, card reader and a DVI output. It does come with a nice healthy 80GB HDD but there is no screen, unless you want to buy yourself an Eee Monitor too.
Best of all, though, is the price which remains at a foot-stampingly low £199. The release date is unknown as yet but when it’s out you’ll be able to chose either black or white and even have the keyboard and mouse thrown in for free.
