Voice recording to the max

Many digital voice recorders seem to be low quality gizmos not really suitable for archiving important business meetings.
We have higher hopes for the new Olympus DM-20 largely because you can save the discussions in decent quality formats (WMA and MP3) and that it comes with a pair of two multi-directional quality AKG stereo mics.
Also rather neat is the recorder’s remote control, which can also moonlight as mîcrophone.
Obviously you can also use the gadget to play MP3s or WMAs too. Our only quibble is that you won’t get to store many tunes on its internal memory of just 128MB. Incidentally using WMA that’s good four hours of high quality chat.
The DM-20 is available now for a penny shy of £500.
