iPod's dirty secret
Share
Everyone knows that the iPod’s Achilles’ heel it is its battery life, which at eight hours is much less than its rivals. However over in Manhattan a pair of brothers are also trying to highlight how the player’s battery deteriorates significantly over time. They produced a short video showing them customising the recent iPod ads by adding a few well-chosen words about its battery performance. You can see it here.
Funnily enough since then Apple, who wasn’t at that point offering a battery replacement scheme, has started to offer one. So now you can buy a replacement battery for your iPod for $99.
We say good work fellas.

$99 for a battery that lasts only 8hours a go and that will probably wear out in a couple of years. Apple is shooting itself in the foot. I would look for a better alternative.
Good, now I don’t have to buy a new iPod
