The number of phones using microsoft software continues to grow. For after the XDA II and the SPV E-200 comes a pair of connected PDAs/smartphones (it is hard to tell the difference nowadays) that use microsoft’s Windows Mobile 2003 platform from E-Ten.

Available now in the UK from Peripheral Corner the P300 and P700 are both triple band, GPRS devices that offer standard Windows Mobile features such as Outlook, Pocket Word and Pocket Internet Explorer.

The more expensive (£461 without contract) P700 sports a 3.5inch screen, features an Intel PXA255 400MHz processor and has integrated Bluetooth.

The smaller and cheaper (£351 without contract) P300 has an ARM 9 200 MHZ processor, sports a 2.8inch display and includes an integrated camera.

We’ll have a review of the P300 next week.

Cheers to What Laptop’s eagle-eyed newshound Katie Lee for the tip.
