Digital TV solutions for your PC

AVerMedia is hoping to bring digital TV to the nation’s PC’s via a pair of new products.
On sale now is the AVerMedia’s Aver DVB-T, a TV tuner card that pulls in all the TV and radio stations available via Freeview. The device also includes digital video recording software that enables viewers to store programme on their pc’s hard disk.
The company is also set to launch the DVB-T STB3 which it is billing as the most flexible digital TV decoder around. The device can be used in conjunction with both a TV and a PC.
Other features include picture-in-picture, plug and play set up and Advanced Progressive Scan and 3D motion Adoptive De-interlace Technology which apparently delivers a sharper, clearer picture.
