Dell’s entered the dedicated TV market with the launch of the W2600 LCD widescreen set. The 26-inch TV is available in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and costs £1207.82. Customers order the sets online along with the company’s range of computers and PDAs. The high-definition box has a “satin-chrome” finish and “piano-black” speakers. Features include the ability to show dual imputs simultaneously and an optional memory card reader for viewing digital images. It also comes with something called “Midnight Mode” which allows viewers to dampen background noise on a show while the main dialogue stays nice and clear.
