PC/hi-fi for under £600

Another interesting product to emerge from the Media Center 2005 launch last week. The Fortissimo may look like an ordinary hi-fi, but believe it or not it’s actually a fully functioning PC complete with minimum 512MB RAM, Intel Celeron 2.8GHz processor and 120GB hard drive (£599). Other versions are available with much better spec for £999 and £1199. Interestingly, you can use it in two modes – either as a standalone hi-fi without switching on the computer, or as a fully functioning Media Center PC.
