Jessops is hoping to appeal to undemanding types with its latest offering. The camera retailer is selling the Fun Cam for just £19.90 in a bid to get even more customers buying digital cameras. We’re not talking in megapixels for this camera – pictures come in a maximum resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, so you won’t be able to do much more than email them or stick them on a webpage, but that’s all that some people need from their cameras, so Jessops could be on to something.
8MB of internal memory will give you room for around 100 images in the highest resolution setting, and because there’s no memory card slot, you’ll have to transfer images using the supplied USB cable. The camera can also be used as a webcam.
