Like all of its rivals Philips also played its MP3 cards at CES. Not entirely sure what to make of the PS110, a personal audio system styled to looks a bit like a fifties radio. It is cheap ($159), features an FM radio and includes a pair of speakers, but users won’t be able to store too much music on its 256Mb of internal memory.
Philips also unveiled a three Gigabyte player the GoGear Hdd084. Set to go on sale in June for around $179 the model is designed to be worn pendant style round the neck.
