Sony PlayStation 3 set for May?

Sony plans to unveil its PS3 console before E3, the world’s largest videogame trade show, held in LA in May. The company has confirmed a pre-E3 event will unveil the PS3 to GameSpot.com. Some sites are posting late March as the date this will happen, which would be ironic, as that was when microsoft were originally rumoured to be launching their Xbox 2 (or Xbox 360 as current Internet rumours have the name). More likely, we feel, is they mean the day before the E3 show officially launches. Which is when Sony’s press conference usually is held.
