Is it now a June launch for Sony's PSP?

Is the UK launch of Sony’s PSP (PlayStation Portable) now scheduled for June?

It was hoped that the PSP’s Euro launch would be around the same time as the US one (March 24th), however the hot goss is that British gamers might not be able to get their eager hands on one until the end of June.

Top gadget site Gizmodo is running a story about how the PSP page on the Amazon UK site has the June date as the confirmed launch. However keep clicking and it will occasionally show a late April date instead.

Late June might be make sense though given that US pre-order figures for the innovative handheld are apparently pretty impressive.
