In what looks like the video fiends answer to the Apple iPod, the Mustek Personal Media Centre is now available to order for £259.95 at website BoysStuff.co.uk. This little gizmo holds 40GB of media for you, and has a pair of built in speakers to play songs or audio for your movies. In terms of songs, it will hold about 10,000 tracks, enough for even the most die-hard music junkie. It can hold up to 66 hours of high quality video for it’s 3.6 inch colour TFT screen. In terms of formats the player supports asf, jpeg, mp3, wav, mpeg4 and, of course, avi. It also has another couple of features that will be of interest to technophiles: a SD/MMC card reader, allowing easy photo transfer and an AV output that enables the player’s video files to be viewed on a TV screen. Altogether this little package weighs about 300g and measures 8 by 11 cm.
