Humax debuts LCD TV with hard disk video recorder

Humax has just released the UK’s first digital
LCD TV with a built in personal video recorder. This 32-inch LCD TV,
catchingly called the LGB32-TPVR, pairs two Freeview digital terrestrial tuner recorders with a
personal video recorder that can record up to thirty hours of TV
programmes onto a 40 Gig internal hard disk drive.

In practice this
means you can do all sorts of cool stuff; apart from recording your
favourite programs, you can pause live TV, have a cup of tea, then
pick up where you left off. The RRP of this piece of kit is £1700. Expect other hard disk LCD TV combis to arrive soon.
