New freeview PVR on the horizon

the 18^th of April is the Topfield TF5800T freeview digital receiver
PVR, going for £289.98 at Unbeatable.co.uk. This freeview box comes with a large 160GB
hard drive, allowing you to store 88 hours of your favourite TV. Not only that,
but the box can record two channel at once, so sparing you the agony of
choosing between your favourite telly programs. 

The box also supports
subtitles, will store MP3s via USB 2.0, and has a CI slot, compatible with
top-up TV. In terms of connectors, the TF5800T will give you 2 SCARTs and RCA
A/V output, S-video output and RF-modulator (PAL/NTSC) output.
