A neat little eco-friendly gizmo, the Personal Power Charger, available for £14.95 at IWantOneOfThose will let you use wind up power to power an onboard torch, radio, and essentially for today’s mobile generation, a phone charger for your Nokia, Ericsson and Motorola phone. So, the important question, how much winding to put through a call to your mates? Well, apparently 30 minutes of winding will get you six hours of standby for six hours, or 10 to 15 mins of talk time. A slightly more reasonable 5 minutes of winding will get you a light for 2.5 hours.
