Apple flirting with Intel?

A report in the Wall Street Journal on Monday, purporting to be from two industry executives, has stated that Apple might be making a break with IBM, exclusive long time supplier of chips for Apple’s machines, and entering into an alliance with industry heavies Intel. Whether Apple is considering- perhaps a complete shift to Intel for all of its machines- is unclear as Apple has called the reports "rumours and speculation".
