Audible goes online in the UK
If you’re into audiobooks and into Apple‘s Music Store, then there’s a good chance you might have heard of Audible already (insert pun here). For those not in the know, Audible provide downloadable audio books, comedy, drama, radio programmes and even audio editions of newspapers. The site, live today, allows UK users to buy direct from the site. The tracks bought online have no expiry dates, which is nice, and you can choose to subscribe to a recurring title (such as a radio show or newspaper) to get it downloaded to your PC automatically every day.
The service offers individual download or you can subscribe. A £14.99 monthly subscription gets you two audiobooks a month, and a £9.99 one gets you one audiobook and one publication subscription per month.
