CVS releases disposable digital cameras
Share
Well, sort-of disposable anyway. It looks like the Stateside pharmacy chain now offer consumers the chance to indulge in cheap digital camera goodness with the release of two digital cameras that you pay to rent, and then return to the store for picture development. The first is the basic $10 model, although there is a more fancy $20 model that comes with a digital display. Both cameras take 25 pictures at a resolution of 2.1 megapixels, and the store will put them on CD for you.
CVS is also offering a disposable camcorder for $30, which will let you record 20 minutes of video, which you can then put on DVD for $13. Of course, they’re not really disposable, as you have to return them to the store, but it’s still a cool idea.
