Sky goes mobile

Looks like Murdock’s media empire will soon be invading a phone near you, with the announcement by BskyB today that it’s launching a new mobile service. The service, shockingly called Sky Mobile, will allow access to news and video updates from Sky sports, live sports scoreboards, and weather forecasts, among other things. Those with the inclination can also check odds and place bets with the equally imaginatively titled Sky Bet. Sky Mobile is available for free for a limited time, if you sign up here.
