Details of Cowon iAudio M5 emerge
the successor to Tech Digest favourite iAudio M3. The iAudio M5 also has the
slim design that made the M3 standout and it weighs in at just 145g, but
the pics don’t reveal whether the controls have stayed attached to the remote
or are handled entirely by the stick on the front. It is compatible with a wide
range of audio formats including MP3, WMA, OGG, plus it has a built in text
reader that lets you scroll through documents on the tiny screen. All this is
stored on a 20GB hard drive and it’s set to retail in Korea for about
230000 Won (£130) which seems like a bargain to me. Needless to say there’s no
word on when it will reach these shores, but at least there’s a reasonable chance
of it happening eventually.
