British Boffins special – The Egg

Katie has already written about the Fanbrella – a revolution in umbrellas apparently – and The Egg, but in case you missed the Shiny post here’s the skinny on the latter. Basically it is a kind of a Tardis which, instead of transporting timelords to distant galaxies, will earn its keep giving middle aged Bubbles types automated massages. There not being room in The Egg to swing a sweaty moggy those massages are delivered by gentle vibration rather than someone else’s hands. Shy types will be glad to know you can keep your clothes on too while it works its magic. More info here.
