Video iPod tonight looks likely

Ok I’ve nailed my colours to the mast. Tonight Apple is going to launch a video version of its iPod. Sure it is pure speculation on my part, but the rumour sites are starting to go with the video iPod story and the clincher for us is that the announcement is live on the BBC. And I am sure they wouldn’t disrupt their schedules for a few tweaks to the Powerbook range. Let’s just hope that Jobs gets on with it quickly as there’s a few rather important World Cup matches on soon after.

It’ll probably have an 80 Gigabyte hard drive and will lead to the launch of a video download wing of iTunes.
