CES 2006: Exercise controlled TV
Share
Only in the land where the Fatburger is king could a company come up with an idea like The Entertrainer. A piece of genius, it’s a gadget that lets your power your TV with exercise. Thanks to the combination of a heart rate monitor and a built in remote control when you start slacking TV volume goes down, and if you over exert yourself it goes too loud. Very smart.
You can team the device up with any kind of exercise system from a fancy fitness bike to the low-tech version- running on the spot. It is also pretty cheap too clocking in at $99.99.
At the moment the only place to get the device is on the web here – and in what is great news for British lardies if you ask nicely they’ll ship to the UK.
