Well, according to TV Scoop, if you want a part in the new series of Doctor Who, you just need to write a nice letter to the writer. It worked for Bolton funnyman Peter Kay, so why not you?
But don’t expect any gags – it’s a straight role as "dastardly Victor Kennedy" in episode 10 of the series. Other star names appearing the new series include Anthony Head, Maureen Lipman, Roger Lloyd-Pack (Only Fools), Pauline Collins (Bleak House) and Tracy-Ann Oberman (EastEnders).
