More MP3 minimalism for you. If you liked the simplicity of the Asono Play, you will probably love the Lenovo Easy Cube MP3 player, which follows a similar route of keeping everything simple.
Unlike the Asono Play, this miniature player (just 2.75-inches per side) is designed for playing MP3 and WMA files without headphones through a 2-inch speaker. The player lacks a display or indeed any internal storage, with music played via SD cards.
At $50, it sounds like a cheap way of taking your music with you. But a word of caution – running it might end up costing you. You’ll need 4 AA batteries to power the player.
