Sony NetJuke NAS-D5HD hi-fi system

Still confined to Japan as yet is the idea of downloading music directly to a hi-fi system, which acts as a mass storage device that can either play your music or transfer it to another device. Sony have added another such system to their range in the shape of the NAS-D5HD NetJuke.
It features a 40GB disk for recording directly off internal CD, FM Tuner, or a line-in. In addition, there’s an Ethernet port and front-mounted USB port for easy MP3 file transfer to any player that operates as a USB mass storage device. It also supports ATRAC.
No sign of these hi-fi systems hitting the UK, but if they do, we’ll keep you posted.
