Dot Matrix watch
I’ve always had a soft spot for digital watches, going back to the Casio with in-built space invaders that made double geography fly by in my formative years. These days I’m looking for style rather than add-on arcade games, which is where this Dot Matrix watch comes in.
Almost like the watch version of the recently-featured Wooden Clock, these leather wristband watches are studded with a matrix of black LEDs that, at the touch of a button, display the time in classic Dot Matrix style, with a second press displaying the date. Available in tan leather with yellow lights, or black leather with red lights, the Dot Matrix’s can display both 24hr and 12hr time, and has a built-in power saving mode, so the time or date is automatically switched off after three seconds.
The watch runs off a CR2032 watch battery (which is included) and sells for around £70.
