Lara's GameCube outing confirmed

Nintendo fans haven’t ever had much chance to get in on the 3D platforming fun that Tomb Raider titles offer before, but GameSpot is reporting that the latest edition, Tomb Raider: Legend, has been confirmed for the GameCube.
This is pretty good news for current Cube owners as there has been a little bit of a lull in interesting new titles for the platform itself recently (seems like everyone is waiting for Zelda and/or the Revolution) and strangely there is a general degree of expectant optimism about TR:L – strange because we’ve been repeatedly lumbered with dire Tomb Raider sequels in the past. Angel of Darkness, I’m looking at you.
