Coming Soon – the robot World Cup
Share
What do you get if you mix a love of technology with a love of the beautiful game? the robot World Cup of course – or RoboCup, to give it the proper name.
It’s being eagerly anticipated by the folk over at Who At All The Bratwurst (who are doubtless desperate to fill the time between the World Cup proper ending the new season starting with something more exciting than cricket or Henman’s humiliation).
The aim of the tournament (also to be held in Germany this summer), is ‘by 2050, develop a team of fully autonomous humanoid robots that can win against the human world champion team in soccer.’ That’ll keep player wage demands down.
For more on this and everything else World Cup related, you really need to visit Who Ate All The Bratwurst.
