GEAR4's ProControl – use your iPod through your TV or home stereo
Another gadget to use with iPod in your living room – this time from GEAR4, which has introduced the ProControl, an AV connection kit for the iPod that syncs, charges and links your player to your TV or home stereo.
The ProControl is being pitched as a complete solution for your iPod in the home, with an included AV cable allowing you to link your iPod to your TV to watch music videos or view photos or even films or to your home stereo to listen to your tunes through a powerful pair of speakers. In addition, it allows you to sync and charge your iPod via the AC charger (included) and the mini USB port. Finally, there’s an remote control, allowing you to directly select playlists, albums and chapters.
It fits all dockable iPods, including iPod nano and iPod 5G and is available to buy now for around £50.
