Google Earth For the Hardware Challenged

Google Earth is one of the best reasons we know for owning a PC, preferably a recent one with plenty of free hard disc space and a fast broadband connection. But what about those who haven’t got suitable hardware? Well, up until recently it was tough, but now there’s a way to play around with the main features of Google Earth, but without having to download all of the software. It’s called Flash Earth and you get all of the zoomable satellite images, though without the fancy tilt facility, but the quality is excellent, and depending on the speed of you web connection, almost as quick as the real thing.
