Contrary to recent speculation Google Chief Executive Eric Schmidt has denied that the company has plans to launch its own web browser. According to the Reuters report, Schmidt, in a conference call with a Wall Street Analyst, said there were no plans to compete with Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, adding that ‘people have some good browser choices already’. These include Firefox, which is included in the Google Pack of essential programs, soon to be bundled with new Dell PCs.
