Review: Sony VGN-SZ1VP

Sony’s Vaio laptops are often thought of as the benchmark in portable computing (whereas the desktops are occasionally found wanting). The guys over at reviewsy website GadgetCentre have just finished playing around with the Sony VGN-SZ1VP, without doubt one of the more desirable members of its Vaio line-up.
They were seriously captivated by this compact notebook – not just because it’s skinnier than a super-model and light as a feather, but because it somehow manages to pack some seriously computing grunt into that shell as well. If there’s a cloud on this silver lining, it’s that it costs the better part of £1,800 and you can probably pick up five perfectly usable budget laptops for that kind of outlay…
