Fujitsu Siemens Pocket LOOX N100 – GPS meets portable music player

Looking for a portable music device that doubles up as a GPS navigation system? It might be worth holding on for a few weeks to consider the Fujitsu Siemens Pocket LOOX N100, which should hit the stores around the start of August.

Designed for portability at just 89 x 62 x 16 mm and 110g, the Pocket LOOX N100 runs via a Samsung 300Mhz processor and Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 Core Version and features a 2.8-inch QVGA 240 x 320 colour transflective TFT Touchscreen, an integrated SiRFstar III GPS module and Navigon MobileNavigator 6. UK mapping is pre-installed on a mini SD card and an additional 37 country maps are available on an included disc. Directions can be found by inputting street, postcode or location.

There’s also a multi-format audio player (MP3, WMA, AAC), with music stored on mini SD (you can get cards up to 1GB). along with all the other bits and pieces you’ll need – headset, car charger, car holder, mini USB cable, AC adapter, plus the bonus of interchangeable covers – up to two included with the unit to start you off.

Available for the start of August, we’re still awaiting a confirmed price.
