Here’s a nice piece of eco-friendly technology for your children, courtesy of those folk over at Hippyshopper.
It’s a solar-powered construction kit. Very much like your old Meccano set, you can keep the kids busy by setting them off on creating either a helicopter or an aircraft, both featuring solar panels. When the sun hits the finished model, it moves just like a battery-powered toy – except it’s better for the environment. And it’s educational – possibly the first step to a highly-paid engineering job in later life.
