Channel 4's hot new launch is, er, a chocolate bar
I know broadcasters are diversifying, but this is ridiculous. Channel 4 has launched a new chocolate bar called Apollo, in a limited edition of 10,000. But don’t worry, it’s not that radical a departure. The bar was actually featured in the second series of Lost, and is now being distributed free to give fans a taste (ho ho) of some of the secrets behind Lost’s storyline.
The bars are being given out in Forbidden Planet shops around the UK, and 200 of them have codes hidden inside, which fans can use to watch a video clip online and discover some of the show’s secrets. Hopefully including why the British bloke’s band ever got a record deal. Yes, I know it’s fictitious, but it still makes me angry.
Anyway, the promotion is all part of The Lost Experience, Channel 4’s online treasure hunt that’s been running around the show. Read Tech Digest’s interview to find out more about it.

‘Y’all everybody…’ , come on, isn’t that the best lyric you’ve ever heard? And being sung by a hobbit, no less, it’s sheer delight
