Review: Apple MacBook
There’s little doubt that the Apple MacBook has sold well on its looks alone – what lurks underneath the hood isn’t a stunningly powerful piece of equipment you’ll ever see. But the combination of the specs, the size and weight, and, above all, price (specifically the mid-range £899 model) makes the MacBook into a really impressive all-rounder. And of course the iconic white minimalist design doesn’t hurt either.
Windows users nervous about making the move to Apple OS X can have some of their fears allayed thanks to the brilliant BootCamp tool which allows Intel Macs to run… Windows. The guys at GadgetCentre have spent some time getting to grips with what the MacBook has to offer and, despite a few minor irritants, are pretty well enamoured with this notebook.
