Today’s Website of the Day is Goggles, a Flash-based flight simulator based on Google Maps. It’s a cool little application that will pass some time. You can start from some of the major cities, or even the Moon, and there’s a slightly convoluted method of specifying your own starting location. It’s a bit of a faff but if you do (and Google has photographed the place you specify) you can fly over an area you choose.
After a while you can seem to ‘fall off’ the map, and end up flying over white space. Give it a try.
