World’s Biggest HD Screen covers one-fifth of an Acre!

If you’ve just shelled out on a big-bucks HD Ready (or capable…) monster flat screen then here’s something to make you feel a tad inadequate. Mitsubishi has just unveiled the world’s largest HDTV screen at Tokyo’s Fuchu Racecourse, reports Japan’s Asahi Shimbun. The Aurora Vision screen uses LED technology and comprises 35 modules, which together measure an impressive 66.4 metres x 11.2 metres (218 x 37 feet), and before you ask, it cost a cool 3.2 billion yen (£15 million).
