IFA 2006: Panasonic's 103inch plasma
Share
Pop over to the Panasonic stand at IFA 2006 and towering over everything else is its monstrously large 103inch plasma. The good news, for us Europeans anyway, is that Panasonic is going to start selling the televisual beast later in the year. The set can deliver two million pixels (1920×1080) of glorious high definition footage on its 261cm visible screen. Panny also claims that in spite of its size the set can deliver the same levels of accuracy as its 50inch set the TH-50PX600.
It also boast Panasonic’s Super Cinema, mode which the maker claims heightens contrast levels delivering very dark blacks.
There’s no news on either a specific launch date or a price.
